Hosted checkout
Redirect and hosted-page methods keep card entry on the payment provider. Direct methods securely relay card data to the configured gateway without intentionally persisting PAN or CVV. Branded with your colors and logo.
QR-code payments

How long does setup take?
Setup time depends on acquirer approval, gateway credentials, the selected sales channel and any provider or marketplace review. Use test mode before enabling an approved live configuration.
What does Genius Checkout charge?
See our pricing for the platform fee. Gateway fees (Powertranz, MPGS, LYNK, Wompi, etc.) are billed by the gateway directly — we are pass-through. There are no setup fees and no minimums.
Which payment gateways are supported?
The application supports configured Powertranz, Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS), LYNK, and Wompi merchant accounts. Availability, tenders and currencies depend on your acquirer approval, credentials and connected configuration.
How do refunds work?
Eligible transactions expose full or partial refund actions. The configured gateway determines refund support, destination, timing and final outcome; Genius Checkout does not hold the merchant's settlement funds.
Do you support recurring billing?
Yes. Subscriptions with dunning, card-on-file updates, plan changes, proration, and a customer portal so buyers can manage their own subscriptions.
What's my PCI scope when I use Genius Checkout?
It depends on the gateway and checkout method. Redirect and hosted-page methods such as Wompi Web Checkout and MPGS Hosted Checkout keep card entry on the payment provider. PowerTranz Direct and MPGS Direct submit card data through Genius Checkout to the configured gateway and therefore have a broader PCI scope. We do not intentionally persist raw PAN or CVV. Merchants must confirm their own eligibility with their acquirer or compliance assessor, and direct-card methods must not be enabled until Genius Checkout has completed the applicable service-provider PCI validation.
Who owns the transaction data?
You do. Export anytime as CSV or via the API. We never sell or share merchant or buyer data.
How does settlement work?
Your gateway settles funds directly into the merchant bank account you registered with them. We never touch the money. For Caribbean acquiring via Powertranz, that means local-currency settlement to your local bank.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings. No long-term contract, no early-termination fee.
